
- At the request of professional footwear and accessories organisations, and in response to the growing needs of businesses, the Atelier Chardon Savard, in partnership with sector professionals, has set up a specialized training program for the accessories field.
Requirement: Level III training at the Atelier Chardon Savard or in another school in fashion, textile or design, or professional experience in the fashion sector.
Length: 1 year. 3 programs are offered: shoes – bags – jewellery.
20 hours of weekly classes.
3 month obligatory internship in the respective sectors, a trends office or design studio.
Candidates must enroll in at least two of the proposed programs.
The objective of this year-long program is to acquire the technical, technological and creative skills specific to these sectors.
The classes are led by experts in styling and manufacturing.

For footwear training, the partnership of the Atelier Chardon Savard with the Centre Technique du Cuir based in Lyon gives students the chance to conceive and create prototypes. This association allows future designer to make the connection between the style and industrial manufacturing universes. The students, confronted with the technical constraints linked to manufacturing, gain a better understanding of the process in order to integrate it in the initial stages of their model’s conception.
Travel costs to attend the Lyon classes are included in the school fees.
Result: presentation of collections and prototypes before a professional jury, and an exhibition of the creations.
