- Requirement: UK – Higher National Certificate, US - Associate Degree (Brevet de Technicien Supérieur); or Fashion Stylist Level III from the Atelier Chardon Savard or another school.
Length: 1 year – 600 hours at the Atelier and 400 hours of obligatory internship in a company.
The designer’s skills go beyond those of a stylist. They don’t only involve interpreting an existing label’s values, but rather of creating a personal concept by developing a creative universe. - This program prioritizes a system of interrogating fashion’s semantics and semiology. It covers and analyzes signs, cultural codes and reference networks.
The program’s workspace is set up like an artist’s studio – a single space where projects are developed. The studio is equipped with all the necessary materials (computer, mannequins and machines).
Throughout the year, students are instructed by visiting experts.
Result: The collection is presented in a fashion parade before a professional jury.
